At our one day unit studies, we learn about and dive deeper into one specific topic. Every month is an exciting new subject! We integrate all areas of learning from language arts and math, to science and art. Throughout the day, students participate in multiple hands-on activities that add enrichment and depth to that month’s topic.

We will discuss the different parts of the narrative for each book such as characters, setting, conflict, solution, and more! At our last class meeting, the students will put together a storyboard of our favorite book from the semester!

In this class, we will explore and learn so many exciting things about the incredible world of music! We will play with instruments, learn new songs, dance, and play plenty of musical games! Music ignites all areas of child development and will help the students to develop rhythm, tone, and motor skills.
